
As a program that cares about Scholars' long-term development and impact on the world, we value supporting graduates for the long-haul, far beyond Scholars' undergraduate experience. We think of ourselves as a twelve-year program. We believe that exceptional emerging adults develop in their character, their intellect, and their ability to act as change makers from the time that they enter college until the age of 30 (or later). As Robertson Scholars continue to develop and find their niche as change makers after they graduate from college, the Robertson Scholars Program continues to play a formative role in their development. Robertson Scholars who have graduated from college are not program alumni; they continue as active program participants. We do not offer a traditional alumni program; instead we offer an effective, expanded development program that addresses real needs and overcomes practical obstacles.
